While a lot of our work extends and customizes existing website templates, we have also written extensions from scratch that provide unique features. 

Hakan had a vision for musicians to share the lyrics and music of Turksih songs. We built an extension for it.

The majority of the songs had been translated into Turkish from other languages but a goal of the website was to also develop and share locally written songs. We helped Hakan develop a bilingual TYPO3 based website with a song database that users could contribute to. Features included a MP3 and video players, a chord editor, various search options, and statistics on the songs used, The website also used customized TYPO3 plugins for user namangement and direct mail newsletters.

When Hakan returned to his home country, maintaining the website community became difficult and so the website closed. The song database however was adopted by another developer and imported into an mobile app. It continues to be popular and used by the community.
