Vista Interactive Client-Partners are Web Marketing Consultants who work in partnership with clients, advising them how to create and maintain their website content in order to meet their business objectives.
Client-Partners work to discover the remarkable qualities of the customer, their products and services and help the customer to share those through web technology.
Client-Partners are involved in a variety of activities, including sales, marketing, project management, client relationship management and they are responsible for all face to face work with the customer including user training and feedback
» Typical activities
Client-Partners tasks will usually involve:
meeting with clients to determine requirements;
working with clients to define the scope of a project, the resources needed and the decision process;
closing sales;
traveling to customer sites;
planning appointments and the resources needed;
asking questions to clarify a client's needs, understanding their products and services and how these are beneficial to their customers and discovering the trust building qualities of the client's business - learning what is remarkable about the business;
developing meaningful website content in customer focused language that communicates what is remarkable about the business;
asking questions to discover the desired actions and responses that the business wants their website visitors to take;
helping the customer to select templates that reflect their business image;
training customers how to edit and update their content;
optionally training other consultants;
identifying potential clients and building and maintaining contacts.

Vista Interactive will provide training and encourage regular reading/learning for Client-Partners in the following areas:
Intro to VI - bigger purpose, company values, products and services
Sales (Mahan/FranklinCovey, Lets Get Real)
Niche Marketing (Seth Godin, Purple cow - creating the remarkable)
Purposeful design (Seth Godin, Big Red Fez - creating websites with a purpose/call to action)
TYPO3 editing
Basic design principles
Presentation skills
Vista Interactive internal systems, CRM, invoicing and payments
Any other skills that may be required as identified
» Commission structure
Vista Interactive contracts work to the Client-Partners on a commission basis. The Client-Partner can expect to earn income from sales and consultancy work as follows:

Hosting Products are typically recurring sales and so Client-Partners are encouraged to maintain relationships with customers for the long term.
» Payments
Vista Interactive will pay Client-Partners their commissions by bank transfer on the 1st working day of the month following payment by the client in full to Vista Interactive.
Client-Partners must provide current bank account details to Vista Interactive.
Client-Partners will need to submit appropriate documents for payment.
Client-Partners are responsible for their own taxes and expenses related to commission payments.
» Terms and Conditions of Contract
Client-Partners are expected to uphold the values of Vista Interactive and professionally represent the company.
Client-Partners agree to not compete with Vista Interactive. Client-Partners intending to sell similar products or services must first get approval from Vista Interactive.
All financial transactions for sales must go through Vista Interactive. Customers will be invoiced directly by Vista Interactive, so Client-Partners must provide accurate Customer billing and tax information. If a Customer chooses to pay in cash, the full amount must be deposited into Vista Interactive's bank account.
Client-Partners must submit an activity report after each customer visit.
Additional terms and conditions as agreed by Vista Interactive and the Client-Partner.
